Rent an E-bike or Electric Motorbike in Tam Coc and Ninh Binh

The best way to see the rice fields around Tam Coc is slowly, on two wheels, at your own pace. No group and no schedule. You stop where you want, for as long as you want.

eBike Tam Coc makes that easy. You book online, even late at night. The next morning the ride is at your hotel. In the evening it is picked up again. You do not have to find a shop, compare old motorbikes or leave your passport behind.

Two rides to choose from

The price is per ride, not per person. Delivery and pickup are included. With the electric motorbike you also get two helmets, two raincoats and a phone holder; with the e-bike, a lock and a charger. Renting the electric motorbike for more than one day? Then you also get a charger. There is no petrol to pay for.

Cómo funciona

1. Book online. Choose your ride, your dates and your hotel. Book before 6:00 in the morning and your ride is delivered that same morning. Book later in the day and it comes the next morning.
2. Delivery at your hotel. You choose a time window: 7:00 to 9:00 or 9:00 to 11:00. The driver shows you how everything works.
3. Pay on delivery. In cash, in Vietnamese dong. Nothing is charged online.
4. Ride all day. In the evening the ride is picked up at your hotel, at a time you agree with the driver.

Es bueno saberlo

• No driving licence needed. The electric motorbike is limited to 49 km/h. In Vietnam you may ride this class without a licence from the age of 16.
• No deposit, and your passport stays with you. The driver only takes a photo of it, and you sign a short rental contract.
• Battery almost empty? On the electric motorbike, message the rental shop and they send you the nearest swap station (open 24/7). The first swap is free, after that 9,000 VND per swap. The e-bike has no swap: you charge it at your hotel with its own charger.
• Never ridden a motorbike? It is automatic and light, and you can practise at your hotel first. Or take the e-bike.
• Free delivery to any hotel or homestay in Tam Coc and in Ninh Binh city.
• Cancelación gratuita. You have paid nothing in advance, so there is nothing to lose.
• More days? Possible, up to 14 days. The ride stays at your hotel at night and you get a charger.
• Rental is per day. Delivered in the morning, picked up in the evening. A few hours costs the same as a full day.
• Insurance: check what your travel insurance says about riding. Policies differ.
